Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an organized movement advocating for non-violent civil disobedience in protest against incidents of police brutality against African-American people. Little is known about who funds Antifa activists, or how the groups get their resources. Black Lives Matter has called for a boycott against “white capitalism,” according to its website, asking supporters to not spend money at “white corporations” between Nov. 25 and Jan. 1.
Antifa is not a single organization, and therefore, financial details, if any exist, are murky. The Ford FOundation plans to study and support "a new form of social justice leadership" while helping end systemic racism as part of Black Lives Matter.
